July 2014 Bridal Extravaganza

Wow, what a whirlwind this Bridal Extravaganza show was.  I never feel truly prepared for these shows but this one, if something could go wrong it did!   My original plan was to do a "citrus" theme tables cape with bright yellows, oranges, corals, kumquats etc.  Well, as you can see that didn't happen. I ordered the flowers for the citrus theme but when I went to pick them up somehow they lost my order!! (thank goodness this wasn't a actual wedding)  So 2 days before the event and with no flowers I had to revamp my ideas.  Luckily I was able to find some awesome flowers, great textures, and cool shapes so with that combo its hard to go wrong. I love the look of fresh garland draping the table so I thought that would be pretty, and how can you go wrong with peach? So thats what we did.  In the end it turned out and we met tons of fabulous brides and vendors. Once the stress and panic subsided we had a blast!  Thank you to everyone that came and said hi and all the wonderful compliments on our booth.  A special thanks to Emily who helped me work the show Saturday and to my amazing husband Chris who helped me set up, break down and even worked the booth Sunday!  We can't wait for the January Bridal Extravaganza.  Maybe, just maybe, we will try our citrus idea again. ;)

Billboard Bride July 2014

There is something so rewarding about seeing your work in print!  We were asked to design 2 bouquets for this years Houston Bridal Extravaganza Billboard Bride.  These photos were used on billboards, posters and flyers around town.  As well as this special write up in Texas Weddings Magazine.  You can find this magazine on newsstands soon!  We are so thankful we got the opportunity to be apart of such a lovely shoot!

Best of Bridal Extravaganza

We are so excited and honored that we were chosen Best Florist of the January 2014 Bridal Extravaganza Show.  There are so many wonderful and talented vendors that attend the show it is very humbling to receive this award.  We are already brainstorming and excited for the next show July 19-20 at the George R Brown Convention center.

January Bridal Extravaganza

It is so fun to do these wedding shows. Not only do we get to meet excited new brides, but we also get to see some of our favorite vendors and meet new ones! Its always so fun to see what everyone comes up with for booth designs.  I'm so in love with black and white stripes right now, I knew that it had to be included.  I added gold vases and bright flowers and we ended up with a Kate Spade look, can't go wrong with that!
For all the brides that came and saw us, thank you. We hope you got lots of ideas and found some great vendors.  Can't wait for the next Bridal Extravaganza!  Enjoy.

Wedding Show

We had such a great time at the Houston Bridal Extravaganza.  So excited to share these photos of our booth with you all. We used grape wood branches, decorated with bright flowers and succulents as our tablescape.  Chris built us a table and bench that we received as many compliments on as we did our flowers!  If we met you at the wedding show this year it was great meeting you!
