Emily & Kieran | Noah's of Katy | Katy, Tx

Emily and Kieran were married at Noah's of Katy.  Noah's was just built this last year, and we are teaming up with them as their preferred florist.   Back in April we did flowers for their grand opening/open house (see those photos here) but this is the first wedding we have done there. It was very exciting for us!  Emily and Kieran were such a delight to work with.  Emily and I built a lasting friendship throughout the process of planning her wedding.  In fact, Emily actually helped us in our booth for the July Bridal Extravaganza. If you have ever done a trade show you know, only a true friend would volunteer to go through that, haha! We had so much in common, the first consultation was so easy and fun we laughed through the whole thing.  Emily wanted a very simple laid back feel to her wedding.  For centerpieces she mixed and matched different jars and bottles some of which she hand painted and glittered herself.  She also created the fabulous paper flowers for her ceremony backdrop.  They were so beautiful and made such a statement.  If you are looking for paper flowers for your wedding, let me know and I will get you in touch with Emily.  She is very talented and makes some amazing flowers!  Kelly Potter Photography captured the day perfectly.  Enjoy!

{Friday Bouquet Recipe} Stunning Spring Bouquet

I haven't done a bouquet recipe in a really long time. I think I AM over due!  We originally did this bouquet for the Noah's of Katy grand opening/open house.  It was the perfect time of year for a florist, the beginning of Spring.  So many fun blooms were in season and I got my hands on them!  One question I get a lot from brides are what flowers are in season for my wedding date.  While most of the common flowers you see you can get all year around, the majority of the flowers used in this bouquet are only available in the spring/early summer.  I think that's what makes them so special and fun to work with.   Enjoy! 

Noah's of Katy Open House

We hope everyone had a very Happy Easter and got to spend it with the ones you love!  

We are so lucky to have the opportunity to be the preferred florist for a brand new, state of the art venue in Katy, TX.  Noah's had their grand opening - open house this weekend. We were honored to be involved and create some beautiful arrangements.  The venue is gorgeous and can go with so many different styles of weddings from rustic to elegant.   They have both an indoor and outdoor ceremony location, along with a beautiful ballroom.  

This time of year is so enjoyable for a florist.  There are so many seasonal spring flowers. We created these beautiful arrangements out of dahlias, hellebore, clematis and pieris just to name a few. We were in flower heaven! Hope you enjoy these as much as we did!
