Logan & Emma | Crystal Springs | Magnolia, TX
Emma and Logan were married on a rainy day at the beautiful Crystal Springs. Unfortunately the ceremony had to be moved inside due to the rain but these two were troopers and didn't let that dampen their wedding day. I had such a blast working with Emma and her mom to create a very country chic wedding. Emma and her mother are so close and you can truly tell they are best friends. They were the kindest, happiest people and made my job easy working with them. Emma's bouquet was wrapped with the lace from her mothers wedding dress, how cute is that? Freckled Key Photography captured the day beautifully.
Enjoy!

Noah's of Katy Open House
We teamed up with one of our favorite venues again, for the Noah's of Katy open house. This time we decorated the ceremony room. If you haven't seen Noah's of Katy yet, you are missing out. It is such a beautiful state of the art venue. We wanted to create something that complemented the beautiful window backdrop but also added the the altar feeling to the ceremony. We hung shear fabric from rings to create an arch then used our amazing glass accent decor vases to add a pop of color with the flowers. Open houses are such a fun time to try new things. We loved how this turned out. Enjoy!

Jessica and Johnny | Briscoe Manor | Richmond, TX
I'm so excited to share Jessica and Johnny's wedding. All the elements in this wedding made it a fun one. I first met with Jessica and Johnny over a year before their wedding. They were so cute and excited about the day! As the day approached I met with Jessica again and was shocked she hadn't changed her mind on anything; colors, flowers style..nothing! I was impressed, a year on Pinterest and most girls have something to change. Well 2 weeks before the wedding I get a call from Jessica...she wanted to change her colors! ha We started with all light pinks and white and she wanted to add some yellow and brighter pink to make it more spring like. I'm so glad she did. After all the stress and hunt for flowers was over it turned out perfect! Sometimes the hardest part of my job is getting the right flowers in. Getting peonies for this wedding in late July was a challenge but I didn't give up and was able to find them! On top of the beautiful flowers the couple chose Brisco Manor for their wedding. It has to be one of my favorite venues. It just has that "Texas" feeling and for a girl from Colorado, its a good change of pace. I really hope to get professional pictures of this wedding soon but for now, my awesome photography skills will have to do. ;) Enjoy!

Pecan Grove Plantation Open House | Richmond, TX
A few months ago (yes months, I've been that bad at blogging!) we teamed up with some great vendors for a bridal open house at Pecan Grove Country Club. For those of you that don't know, we are located in the Pecan Grove neighborhood, so it was a great opportunity to team up with our neighbors and promote a great venue. We tried to do a wide spectrum of centerpieces from affortable to more elaborate in hopes there was something for every bride. Aren't these linens amazing? Enjoy!

Emily & Kieran | Noah's of Katy | Katy, Tx
Emily and Kieran were married at Noah's of Katy. Noah's was just built this last year, and we are teaming up with them as their preferred florist. Back in April we did flowers for their grand opening/open house (see those photos here) but this is the first wedding we have done there. It was very exciting for us! Emily and Kieran were such a delight to work with. Emily and I built a lasting friendship throughout the process of planning her wedding. In fact, Emily actually helped us in our booth for the July Bridal Extravaganza. If you have ever done a trade show you know, only a true friend would volunteer to go through that, haha! We had so much in common, the first consultation was so easy and fun we laughed through the whole thing. Emily wanted a very simple laid back feel to her wedding. For centerpieces she mixed and matched different jars and bottles some of which she hand painted and glittered herself. She also created the fabulous paper flowers for her ceremony backdrop. They were so beautiful and made such a statement. If you are looking for paper flowers for your wedding, let me know and I will get you in touch with Emily. She is very talented and makes some amazing flowers! Kelly Potter Photography captured the day perfectly. Enjoy!
