Fruit and Vegetable Arrangements

Can't think of the perfect flower for your wedding day? Try thinking outside the box, maybe in the produce section of the grocery store. Here are some awesome examples of using fresh fruit and vegatables in your floral arrangements.   They look so good I could almost eat them...well I guess I actually could!

Blood oranges, pomegranate, kumquats and radishes go perfectly with these bright red and orange roses. Design by Heather Christo.

For this wedding the bride really wanted something unique and bright, so we used a clear cube vase and filled it with oranges, limes and lemons. Design by F. Dellit Designs and Bride and Bloom Design Company

Grapes were added to this arrangement of kale, hydrangea and berries.  How elegant is that?  Photo from Belle of the Ball

Strawberries and apples were added to these arrangements, they pair so well with these colors and give it such a feeling of summer time. Designed by one of my favorite florist and sites to go gawk at  Fleurs Tremolo  do yourself a favor and go look, amazing work!!

And last but not least, I love using artichokes, they come in purple or green and add a fun surprise element to arrangements. Designed by F. Dellit Designs

Let us know what you think? Would you use fruits and vegetables in your wedding?
